What an interesting perspective! This is so very true! I was a shy child who grew into an extremely extroverted adult, and I can’t help thinking how true this is of me. It was only when I allowed myself to let others see the silly, goofy, often wrong side of me that I dropped the shyness and found myself! Found you on the SITS Sharefest!
Thank you for sharing your experience, I told my mentor that I am extremely shy in meetings and she told me that “shyness is a form of pride”. It made me look at my shyness differently as I try to overcome it.
I’ll be spending some serious time pondering this. Thanks for sharing.
Happy Sharefest! I hope you have a lovely weekend.
